TEENS ARE WELCOME
WHEN?
The American College of Ob-Gyn recommends that teenage girls have their first
visit to a gynecologist between the ages of 13 and 15. A pelvic exam is usually not
necessary depending upon symptoms or risks. Subsequent visits are approximately annually.
