Spider Vein Treatment

Spider Veins can be a nuisance to some women and for many others may prevent them from feeling comfortable wearing shorts or dresses. The tiny blue or purple veins may appear in a cluster and look like a bruise, or snake up the leg like a roadmap. While not a medical problem, they can be annoying.

Some women find that the spider veins worsen after a pregnancy. There is good news, though:  many woman have used injection sclerotherapy to treat unsightly spider veins. Initially developed in Europe, it has been available in the US for over 10 years. Women Physicians Medical Group has been offering this treatment to our patients since 1996.
