Obstetric Care

We are pleased to be able to share in this extraordinary time in your life.  Adding a new member of your family is always an exciting event, and a healthy outcome starts with the care that you can find with us.

We offer complete obstetric services, including high-risk obstetrics. Our four physicians do all the deliveries for our practice.

One of the reasons we enjoy practicing together is that we have the same basic philosophy of care:  we believe that each woman is an individual and will respond to pregnancy, labor and delivery uniquely.  Accordingly, we do not have pre-defined labor protocols.

"I owe the lives of my children and myself to the wonderful doctors of [Women Physicians OB/GYN Medical Group].  The office and staff are the best I've ever experienced."

Women Physicians OB/GYN Medical GroupWe believe that you are an active partner in your medical care. We will discuss available options together and encourage you to be an active participant in the decision-making process. We realize that some women benefit from pain medication in labor, while others prefer not to use any.  Our goal is to have a healthy baby and a healthy you.

About our obstetric call system...

We practice as a group for pregnancy care.  In order for you to get to know each doctor, you will see each of the doctors during your pre-natal appointments.  In general, during office hours, each doctor tries to deliver her own patients; if she is not available, the doctor who is on call will take care of you.

In our practice, you are assured that a doctor you have seen during your pregnancy and who knows you will deliver your baby.

Because of our commitment to providing the best possible health care to you, no outside doctor will take care of you. We rotate responsibility for taking care of you at night, on weekends, and on holidays.

Pediatric Questions

Your pediatrician is the best source of information for routine infant and child care.  If you do not already have a pediatrician, we will be happy to make a suggestion of a physician who will fit your needs in caring for your child.  In the event your child does have gynecologic problems, we are fully qualified and ready to help.
