Mammography

We recommend routine screening mammograms every year after the age of 40.  If your family has a history of breast cancer or you have an abnormal breast exam, we may alter this schedule.

We generally refer to the following mammography centers:

• El Camino Hospital
• Northern California Mammography Center
• Valley Radiology

You must check with your insurance company regarding coverage for mammography. 

By law, the mammography center will send your results directly to you.  If you have not been notified or have questions regarding your results, please call our office.
