Janet Huang Pulskamp, M.D., FACOG

Janet Pulskamp, M.D.

Dr. Pulskamp was born in Taiwan and came to the United States at the age of 6. She lived in Houston, Texas; Akron, Ohio; and eventually Cupertino, California where she attended Cupertino High School. She graduated from Stanford University in 1984, with a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Biology and Economics. One of the highlights of her undergraduate experience was spending three months at the Stanford overseas campus in Cliveden, just outside of London, England.

Dr. Pulskamp received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1988. She completed her residency at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. After four arduous winters, she chose to return to the Bay Area. She is Board Certified in OB/GYN and is a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN (FACOG). She joined Women Physicians in 1992.

Dr. Pulskamp is married and enjoys cooking and traveling in her spare time. She speaks fluent Taiwanese and is learning Mandarin as well as Spanish. She served as the Chief of the Department of Ob/Gyn at El Camino Hospital in 1999-2000. She is currently an officer for the American Medical Women's Association, South Bay Chapter.

One of Dr. Pulskamp's hobbies is creating greeting cards. She donates these cards to the El Camino Hospital Auxiliary, a non-profit volunteer organization. The proceeds from the sale of the cards are used to enhance patient care at El Camino Hospital.
