Barbara Dehn, R.N.P.
 Barbara
Dehn, RN, MS, NP, also known as Nurse Barb, joined Women Physicians in
1991. Nurse Barb is known throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, where she
appears regularly on ABC TV's View from the Bay as a health expert. Barb is a
graduate of Boston College, earning a BS in Nursing. She worked in Pediatric
Intensive Care at Stanford University for 8 years. Barb earned a Masters Degree
as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of California, San
Francisco and practiced in a free clinic before joining Women Physicians. She is
a popular guest lecturer in the Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner program
at Stanford University. She also founded Blue Orchid Press, which produces
innovative and award winning Personal Guides to Health that have been read by
over 3.5 million women on topics ranging from Fertility to Pregnancy and
Menopause.
Barb speaks nationally on a variety of women's health issues and has made guest
appearances on CNN, Good Morning America, CBS and NBC. She is committed to
"Empowering People with Health Information." Barb lives in Silicon
Valley with her husband and son.
